![]() They just need to be able to scream, have the proper accent, and get somewhat close to the original voice in delivery. Getting a new VA shouldn't be all that hard either. ![]() The only thing I can think of that Wolf has said in voice since Payday 2's release, is the Christmas Carol which coincidentally killed Ulf's vocal chords and is the actual reason why Wolf has never ever been updated. So in getting a new VA, you're losing nothing. Also I'm pretty sure most of, if not all of Wolf's lines are recycled from Payday 1. Everyone who cares, understands the circumstances. Or maybe he was trying to upgrade the drills to jam less, and got a flying drill bit lodged in his throat, resulting him in needing a new voice.Įither way, I don't think too many people would be too broken up about replacing the current voice. However, fans are curious about a key feature that was missing from Payday 2: crossplay. They could do a tongue-and-cheek thing where they have Wolf get surgery to change his voice for a heist, or just because he's rich now and he can do stuff like that. It's a game that has been made from the ground up to be supported for years to come. Overkill also knows the potential of the series and is taking a great degree of care to ensure Payday 3 has been designed with longevity in mind. Payday 3 will be a far more refined experience that takes the core pillars of the franchise and adds a new layer of polish to them. However, a third game is pretty long overdue and it looks to address some of the fundamental flaws with the second game. Payday 2 was so successful, it enjoyed roughly a decade of support from Overkill Software. The sequel leveraged the success of the first game and executed on a far more ambitious vision, allowing for lots more depth in the heisting. Although the first game was pretty small in scope, it scratched an itch for people who wanted a big, fun bank heist game. ![]() ![]() The Payday franchise is one of the most successful co-op franchises out there. Payday 3 is finally nearly upon us and fans are eager to learn if it's crossplay. ![]()
